Renault Megane sticks in 3rd gear when cold
car stick in 3 rd gear sometimes when engine is cold or has no warmed right up.
battery lights come on some times when cold( flickers)
sometime loses control of sterring for a sec.
but when engine is warm i have no problems
its a p reg automatic
any idea what the problem is

Tightening the belt that drives the power steering pump and alternator might help with 2/3. Probably just one belt does both *I guess*
The gear problem is likely to be more involved.0 -
check gear box oil level/transmission fluid to try and cure gear box fault,if not then its probably on its way out....work permit granted!0
