Recommendations for reliable breakdown cover, inc. Europe for 2 weeks?

Can anyone recommend reliable and good value breakdown cover that includes up to a month of European cover, please?

I've looked at the AA, with Topcashback, which seems good for the UK, but European cover is quite expensive, particularly as we're only going over there for a couple of weeks this year.

Reliable and good value probably don't go together here. We tow a caravan, so need specialised cover as most of the operators won't deal with caravans as well as a towing vehicle. We have UK cover and buy a standalone single-trip policy for the time we are abroad.

If you need travel insurance as well, some of the packaged bank accounts may be worth looking at. Some cover Europe for breakdown and some don't, so check what you are getting.

When our travel insurance runs out I intend to see if we can get underwritten by the Co-op bank. Their packaged bank account gives European breakdown cover, is offering 3 months free, and costs less than we are currently paying for annual travel insurance.

    Nationwide FlexPlus bank account.
£18/mo, full Euro AA breakdown (with no vehicle age limit, personal cover for both joint account holders), full global travel insurance, full global mobile phone insurance.

You can't buy that cover, especially not for that money.

Banks do not underwrite insurance on these package bank accounts.

That was clumsily worded on my part - I understood that the insurer concerned would need to agree to cover me. We have some declarable health conditions, so simply paying the monthly fee wont work, it will have to go to the underwriters to see if we will be accepted, and they may possibly require an additional premium.
