They are definitely £1.99 in our local Sainsbury's - shelf edge label said so and I got it price checked. :(
  • Thanks for the post but £1.99 in my local Sainsburys on the 7th.
    :( FiFi

It appears that way. Checked another Sainsbury's today and £1.99.

But they have the Disney ones @ 79p for 2 which is relatively cheap for kitchen rolls. :)

That's the Christmas one - with Christmas confetti in the package - just to make it easier to spot! It wasn't marked down in my local, but I asked for a price check at the checkout and even the SA was surprised at the price.

Why is kitchen roll so expensive? Sorry I missed this offer, I think MSE needs a supermarket board that lists all current offers (if possible)
I was thinking exactly the same when I was shopping last night. It's got to be one of the biggest ripoffs on the planet, along with loo paper.

I think a bidet could be a good investment! :D

This board is for short-term, grab it deals only. Anything else, including general supermarket offers (bogof, half price or 3for2 etc) should be placed on the Shop But Dont Drop board.

This offer was on for 7 days before it ended - I would consider that a short term deal and thus def qualifies to be on the grab-it-now board, well done the lucky peeps who managed to stock up
