Hi all. Just had a PCN through from the other day when picking up the kids. Had overstayed by 44 minutes. I didn’t realise there was a limit, and we were stuck there for ages waiting for their grandparents who were standstill on the M5
what’s best here to try and get ahead of it? Contacting welcome break perhaps (though their site says they can’t cancel them, and tell you to contact parkingeye. However I’ve seen old threads where they had cancelled them)?

I have emailed Gordano.enquiry@welcomebreak.co.uk just now and tried calling but just end up on a machine when I call the number. Need to try and get hold of someone on the phone ideally I think.1

They should cancel it if you are polite. Exhaust this option before even thinking of appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
