Which Silicone sealant?

What type of silicone sealant is best for re-sealing failed sealant on the interior of UPVC windows and trims, should it be an acrylic or silicone? Also does anyone have recommendations of a particular male?

Why did it fail and how? IMO, inside silicone can be used, but not necessarily. If the window frame is fixed reliably, it can be decorators caulk (bead) or even just finishing plaster/filler (right angle).0

Do you want to paint right up to the upvc frame or trim? If so an acrylic frame sealant would do the job just fine. There are loads on the market and even if they say “external” they can be used inside and still painted as long as they’re acrylic.
Silicone isn’t really ideal because the paint won’t stick to any that gets onto the window reveal.1 -
If it's uPVC joins (trim to frame) you can use anything you like. I use white sanitary sealant on white uPVC.
As others have said, use decorators caulk if it's to be painted.0 -
Forgot to say that if you do use silicone, neutral cure is recommended for upvc rather than acetoxy cure (the stuff that smells of vinegar).0
