3 seconds - Worried about a possible fine

Hello,
Slightly worried and hoping for some reassurance!
Went to a trampoline place today and the car park is managed by parking eye. I knew you got 3 hours free inputting your reg. The car park was quite busy and had a small queue when we entered the venue, the screen to input your reg is on the counter where you pay.

Unknown to me at this point you only have 5 minutes to enter your reg on the screen, I entered the car park at 3 seconds to 2pm (checked my dashcam) and I took a picture of my entering my reg at 2.05pm as I wanted proof I'd entered it because I'd heard horror stories.
Am I likely to get a fine over 3 seconds? Seems really harsh, a busy car park, kids out the car, queuing to get in all in 5 minutes! Obviously I have online proof of my booking and I did enter my reg but have heard they are so strict.
Im going to be worrying about this £100 fine now all over 3 seconds!
Is a fine likely?

I doubt it will happen, but do come back to this thread for advice if you get an NTK PCN letter in the post4

Thank you for the reply, sorry it's not letting me quote your message. I messaged the venue and they said it's unlikely as long as I entered my reg whilst on site and to contact them again if I do get a fine so let's see.0

You definitely wont get a fine, magistrates issue fines, so never going to happen
But if you do receive a pcn in the post, contact the venue and demand a cancellation as a valid customer5 -
The laws were changed earlier this year regarding the five minute parking time. Search google for (new laws on parking fine times) First BBC result. You're unlikely to receive anything. I've had quite a few tickets from parking eye and never paid any of them, if you're persistent they back down. Dreadful company.2

Thanks for that, yes just had a look and very interesting. This car park serves a few venues all owned by the same company, one of the venues is a short walk and up a long flight of stairs, it's a big ask to expect people to get there in 5 minutes, plus there are often queues. Plus time to find space to park, 5 minutes soon goes.1

It's an invoice at the end of the day. Sometimes people need to toughen up.
If I received a charge in your situation I'd take great delight in telling them to fck the hell off 😉😀3 -
A timely post from the BBC this morning on this very subject: Excel Parking has lost the battle for a second time and been ordered to pay £10,240 to charity after trying but failed to fine someone for not paying within five minutes.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
