i recieved a parking fine on 23rd june on an n.h.s. site . i complained about it then appealed it as the evidence supplied of an unclear photo of the number plate. isent in by recorded delivery my appeal on 14th july and the parking company pcn n/w said they refused the appeal on the 14th july which is impossible as i never sent it until the 14th july so they thuoght my first letterof my complaint was my appeal so they have rejected my appeal and now after writing to them about it 3 times they sent it for debt collection and are now charging me 170 pounds can this be right? billy 1949

Doesn't matter if it's right, just ignore the powerless debt collectors letters and texts etc
Study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum, especially post 4 in it
Ps, it's definitely not a fine, magistrates issue fines, not happened here, private parking companies cannot and don't issue fines3 -
You just ignore them. Nobody pays £170.billy1949 said:i recieved a parking fine on 23rd june on an n.h.s. site .

thanks for your comments but the point i am making is that I sent in my appeal on 14th july and they rejected it on the 14th july which is obviously impossible0

Regardless, it doesn't change anything
Which parking company ?
Ignore the powerless debt collectors letters2 -
There is no genuine appeals process. They don't read them and everyone gets the same templated rejection. Why would they voluntarily give up £100?3

Sounds like SolutionLabs but they are not a PPC. Show us both sides of the NTK.
