    Hi
No nothing held in a pension his assets are a piece of land he owns outright and 25% ownership of another piece of land, the owner of the 75% share is going to be upset, when he finds out who his new partner is!
His business partner by any chance?

Do you have any contact with this person? It might be kind to let them know before HMRC pop up?

It would give them time to research options?

They might want to get the property valued so they know what they want to do - buy the other portion or sell it when HMRC decides they want to sell.
