Solicitors asking for additional money a month after house purchase

We completed on our flat purchase on 18th April, received final invoice, all paid up. Solicitor made a mistake and charged £150 for land registry when it should have been £330. They're asking for the difference. Should I pay it? The mistake is theirs, a month has passed. How long are they allowed to keep going over figures and changing the invoice?

6 years is the law of limitations

If your employers made a mistake and paid you £200 rather than £2,000 would you expect them to make up the short fall or think its done now so obviously I just have to accept the short fall?

If the mistake is genuine and the £330 is correct then just pay up.

    Best course of action.
