Because AutoAid is terrible and AA are very good.  They're aren't called the 4th emergency service for nothing.
Self titled sales patter does not count otherwise the true 4th emergency service was a Heating and Plumbing company
    which is now dissolved.

Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...

  • I’m confused why people spend hundreds on the AA or RAC when you can get the same cover for around £60 with auto aid?

They are called the "4th Emergency Service" by their advertising agency and nobody else (except you, maybe?)

I suggest a coin toss between Coastguard and RNLI before AA get a look in.

Silly question - How often do you call the breakdown service? Not saying do not have it but the prices go from small to reasonable to Let me ring a mortgage broker.

Just like buying a new phone or computer do you want everything it comes with - If you never travel more than 10 miles why continental cover and and yes I do know people who buy it - Just in Case.

I have been with the AA for as long as I care to remember...I simply hate the way they treat their "loyal" customers.
Every year they up the price a silly amount, and every year I have to call them to get it down to a "reasonable" level.
However this year despite trying several times I just could not get through, so gave up and "re-joined" as a new customer (with a "deal"), and saved myself about £20.....but what a way to do business, but I suppose that's just the modern way of doing things....??
