Child Benefit - Advanced or Non Advanced course

My 18 year old daughter has recently passed her BTEC course and is going to be starting a uni course soon. I am trying to ascertain whether I would still be eligible to receive child benefit.
The course is a uni course but is run at local college so daughter will be staying at home.
The course is an "Initial Year for extended degree in science" the course notes state it is not a foundation course and does not lead to a qualification. It is a stepping stone to progress onto a degree.
I am struggling to find out from the uni if this is classed as advanced or non advanced education for the purposes of child benefit.
Does anybody have any experience?
Thanks
