Completion of House Sale - Solicitor Issues

Hi All,
My parents are selling their home for the first time and they had a tough time with their own solicitor throughout the process (unresponsive, no advice given, pressuring and uncooperative).
Parents have exchanged contracts and have just about secured a date for completion tomorrow (Friday 22nd August). The Solicitors have been abrupt and accused my parents of being rude and now they don't wish to speak to my parents.
Parents are naturally upset about the whole thing and are left thinking what to do as the solicitors are not taking their calls.
Any advice on how to proceed, this has baffled me on how the solicitors are handling my parents case.
Kindest Regards

If completion is tomorrow then they might as welll put it down to experience rather than drag things on by raising a complaint.1

Have your parents been rude?
Just let completion happen and then forget about it.0 -

Just to clarify - what do you mean by "just about secured"? You make it sound like there is still some doubt.
If contracts have been exchanged, the completion date will (almost certainly) be 100% fixed. So they'll need to hand over their empty property tomorrow. Is that the plan?

Without being privy to the actual content of communications between the solicitors and your parents, it is very difficult to make any sensible comment/judgement.
There are very regular posts on the forum complaining about conveyancing solicitors, especially people getting frustrated regarding very slow responses. However it is very unusual that they would actually be rude and refuse to talk at all, so something strange must have happened.0
