My 27 year old daughter wants to move back home as her marriage has broken down, im currently on universal credit as my partner died suddenly, im at home with a 6 year old and a 10 year old, i know i would lose my council tax benefit but would i lose any other money if she was just paying towards bills ?
The council wont help house her and private is just to expensive. She has a job.

The only impact may be non dependant deduction from housing amount. This amount is £93.02 per monthly assessment period.
You just report change on your claim under Children and other people living with you noting her as other person living with you.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
Do you currently have a spare room for your daughter or will it impact on the family?
You should be charging her a realistic amount to cover extra costs both what you lose in council tax and the other increases in bills.
