Removing Photos When Quoting A Post

Basically what the title says, can someone point me in the right direction so that I can remove photos from a posting I am quoting and leave only the text.
Sometimes seems like photos are just reposted time after time.

Just click quote, and then in the message box, backspace or delete the photos from inside the quote.
I wish everybody did this, it can get annoying to scroll down the same large pictures repeatedly in peoples quotes.6 -
Sorry I have tried the backspace from begining of photos and not had any luck, could you explain where I would place cursor for backspace to work.0

Just selecting the photo in the quote and pressing 'delete' should work2

To use backspace you put the cursor after the photo1 -

As a last resort, you can go into the HTML view by clicking the </> button and manually removing <img... bits.1

Thanks all got that now. I did try placing cursor at end of photos this morning and pressing backspace but did not seem to have any effect. Tried now and working fine.0
