Octopus - Change fix now or wait?

If you are happy to budget yourself, best to pay on actual usage1

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. There are some cheaper options around but I'm pretty happy to stick with Octopus for the moment. As Mark_d said, probably sensible to decide on what's certain, not second guess future, so I'll stick with the current fix for the moment.

Similar situation I am with Octopus on their Octopus tracker tariff. Is this still a good tariff or should I go on a fixed tariff?0

our fix was due to end 20th October, I've ended it early & gone on to the Aug 2025 V1 fix for 12 months after today's news. We're a high user on electricity only so didn't want to gamble with any fix being too much higher come October. Swings & roundabouts again, but at least we know where we are for another year, no exit fee again so can always change later.0
