DCB LEGAL RECORD OF PRIVATE PARKING COURT CLAIM

Hi. I have done some work for DFS Cardiff in 2021 as a subcontractor. When I arrived first day to start the job for a contractor through the induction process they took every contractor’s car registration to allow park in parking lot which belong to DFS , I finished my job after one week. After 10 days I got 7 PCN . ( for each day I worked there) I contacted the side manager of the company who was doing the job in DFS , the manager told me not to worry as it was some mistake and he was going to sort it out with DFS manager to remove it . But after some time I received more letters from Parking Eye to pay the full amount. (£ 1190.00) I have tried to contact manager again but was unable to sort things out. A few years ago Parking Eye passed it to Debt collection agency . I called the agency and explained everything. They stopped sending me letters . But now I have got HM Courts & Tribunals Service letter and Claim form.
Please give me advice about what should I do. As I said I was authorised to park there. I intend to defend myself and to go to court. How strong is my case ? Thanks

That claim has nothing to do with Parking Eye. You need to read the claim form carefully. If you think you also have a Parking Eye case against you, you'll need to work out exactly what this claim is about, it may be nothing connected with DFS Cardiff. Please clarify so you/we don't go down wrong rabbit holes. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

6th September to 11th September is only 6 days; therefore, they would appear to have issued two for the same day; unless it was two visits on one day.2

Also, they have just listed two dates and said seven PCNs were issued between those two dates. That doesn't cut it in terms of a properly pleaded claim even if the dates had been seven or more days apart.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
