Gladestone Solicitors - 'Post Litigation'
I recently found this forum after trying to sort out a parking fine for not parking within a bay.
Long story short, I've send them evidence of the signs (either bent in half on the floor, covered in paint, or place in very inconspicuous positions), and since sending Gladestone the evidence, the status of my case with them has changed to 'Post Litigation'. I also asked them to send me an evidence pack because I can no longer access it and this also shows the signs haven't been maintained.
Does this change to post litigation mean they've considered it and abandoned the case? Appreciate any insight.
Cheers

No, it means they are sending a claim form.
When did you send the evidence exactly?
Did you also ask for 30 days hold for debt advice? Have they waited 30 days?
Show us what you sent them and when. Let's see this evidencePRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sent the evidence to Gladestone on 23rd July. I'd previously tried to explain on a form to Premier Parking but got no where (as I'm starting to see on here).
See below photos of the signs. The photos the parking attendant took arent too far off from these except the sign on the floor was bent on top of the parking meter I think.
Id never parked here before but a mate suggested it when we went to the football. I paid for parking and i parked in what I thought was the bay - turns out I parked across it as all the cars were parking in that direction (I imagine i wasn't the only one to get a ticket that day).

Also apologies, I didn't ask for hold for debt advice. First I've heard of it to be honest.

LOL those signs are appalling. Cannot see any semblance of a contract in that car park.
Did Gladstones not respond to that evidence? Show us what turns up.
Your claim will be easy to defend. While you wait, don't disappear from here for weeks!
This month, we need you: PLEASE bookmark this thread below and do Public Consultation if you haven't done it yet. See this thread: -We need every poster to come back & complete this vital Consultation before the deadline!
I've covered up to question 20 already on that thread. Whilst your answers must of course be your own, there are vital points to safeguard motorists interests to make. There won't be a template - the survey is for you to reply in your words - but we'll help everyone with what we are focussing on.

Ha, this was two weeks after I parked when I first got the fine through from my company car hire service.
I could only access the evidence they had once on their online portal for some reason and stupidly didn't screenshot them, but I'm fairly confident the signs are in the exact same condition.
Gladestone did reply to my initial complaint, essentially showing a map of where all the signs were and a copy of the contract. I've highlighted where I parked below and where I exited the car park to go to the pub (designated driver obviously!)
The orange arrow is where I paid. The signs I've sent you photos of are circled - blue arrow is where I walked out and yellow dot is where I parked (the bottom left red sign wasnt onsite). I do have some photos of the other signs and they're in varying conditions, all against walls covered in graffiti.
Do you think I need to do anything in the meantime, or is it a case of waiting for them to make the next move?
Also thanks for responding, i really do appreciate it.

Do you think I need to do anything in the meantimeYes please. And it's nothing to do with Gladstones.
See above. Any questions, ask on the dedicated thread but I should have the question 'guidance' ready by the weekend to make the Consultation easier.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.
I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.
Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam over 18 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.
