Hi

Probably not an option but just thought  I would ask the question. Has anyone tried switching energy using uSwitch through Topcashback and then also using a referral code. Is the code always an URL link?

Cheers

Consider any potential cashback as a bonus, but don't make it a primary factor in your decision to switch as it is never guaranteed.

It's likely that the cashback terms and referral terms will say not valid with any other offer, but that doesn't mean it won't work -  lot of these systems are automated so it might slip through with a 'double dip'.

To get the cashback you will need to go through the link from Uswitch.  If the referral is also via a URL then it's unlikely you'll get both as the URL allows the supplier to track the origin.  If the referral is just a code to enter then you might get lucky.

Topcashback have their own Energy Comparison with similar rates to uswitch, that at least takes one link out of the chain.

Cheers for that already switched my own through uSwitch now looking at doing my parents. The referral is actually a code rather than a URL.
