Empira Formal Notice - Tesco Parking (WHAT TO DO)

Hi,
I've received an Empira notice, after not deciding to pay my Tesco Parking Charge from Horizon Parking, which was issued December 2024. From advice taken on this forum, I had decided to not pay those bloodsuckers, as the reason for my charge was being stuck in a parking bay, due to a car meet occuring, leading to my way out being entirely blocked.
I am still in complete belief these bloodsuckers shouldnt get paid due to this.
I had not appealed nor responded to the ticket to anyway shape or form, but have no received an Empira notice. If I do have to pay, then I will do so (will not be happy doing so), but the main point of concern is a CCJ, which I must avoid.
Experts of MSE, how do I go about dealing with this? Thanks.

You can't get a CCJ by defending a claim.
Ignore that Debt Collector letter. There is literally no point engaging, sadly. However, Tesco Head office can step in and cancel it and so can the Tesco Store Manager. They have a portal to cancel private PCNs with Horizon. PUSH THE COMPLAINT!
Read the official MSE Guide linked at the top of this page (little red 'MSE link' in the banner about the MSE Guide) if you are unsure about trusting a forum of armchair lawyers!
The Guide was fact-checked by me. And separately approved by Martin Lewis so it's official MSE stuff and was in this week's MSE email sent to nearly ten million recipients.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

In this case, as it has already reached the Debt Collector stage, I'll write a formal complaint to Horizon.
As for this stage, would Horizon have a portal for me to complain within, or should I contact the Tesco Head Office directly? Thanks.0 -
They have a complaints link on the BPA AOS members list1

Complain direct to the store manager and Tesco CEO.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1

I've read the official MSE Guide, so now that the ticket has gone to a CCJ stage, so the best thing to do is to directly contact Tesco, and get through to the manager.0 -
A CCJ is a County Court Judgment. Your case has gone nowhere near a court, let alone all the way to a judgment. All you have is a begging letter.1

Misunderstood from my part.
No. That wasn't the advice!Hey, thanks for the response.
