Morning all, we've woken up to drizzle too, that wasn't in the forecast ! I hope we have better weather when we're away.
Yesterday I cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom, even the tiles and skirting got a wipe over. We finally pulled out the old broken van cover from the shed too and cut it up, it's now bagged ready for disposal.
The rain scuppered our van visit for today as I don't want things to get wet going from the house to car then to the van, not when we can wait a day or 2. Now my day is free so I can do as I please, I may visit the meat van instead as my freezer is looking decidedly empty and perhaps find inspiration for tea, I will have to wear a wet weather coat though.
Gers well done on the weight loss, I've put a pound on according to the nurse at my BMI !
YorksLass thanks for the hug, a bit of patience with Dad is needed now but he makes things so difficult, he still wants to be in control of everything and he can't so he has a tantrum !
Coxy hopefully the UTI has abated and you don't get another spate while on holiday.
Take care all,

Morning all, dull and cooler- like most of you from the sounds of it. Thanks for starting Gers, and well done on the weight loss!Thank you for all the good wishes for DH, very kind. We were up bright and early as he had to be there for 7.15, DS dropped him off. He sent me a message after a bit saying the op was being early afternoon, he's got his book to read anyway. I put the washer on as soon as he'd gone, towels and bedding- some out on the line, and some light stuff in the dryer.@YorksLass thanks for the reminder, I need to do my gas readings too.@Coxy11 ,so glad you're feeling a bit better before the big trip.Just been for a long walk with Ldog, he'll need another this afternoon as DS1 and I will be out after tea.Just had a food delivery.I certainly don't get the same amount for the same spend recentlyAnyway, back to the chores - have a good day all:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
