If both parents are earning just about the minimum income floor to get UC and one child starts earning as well would it be okay if one of the parents earnings drops down low so the total income is about the same with the universal credit  about the same

Minimal income floor applies to self employed claimants. Should their income fall below the minimum floor, then regardless of their income the minimum floor will be applied.Oneplanetonelife said:If both parents are earning just about the minimum income floor to get UC and one child starts earning as well would it be okay if one of the parents earnings drops down low so the total income is about the same with the universal credit about the sameEqually as pointed out their sons income has no affect on their claim.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.
