Deed of Variation

I have an inheritance. I wish to complete a Deed of Variation for three people. I wish the amount I leave to each person to differ as once person is more in need with children. Does one person necessarily be shown what the other person is receiving. Is the Deed of Variation one form or can it be two individual forms?

My children didn't see the deed of variation when the solicitor did it with money my mum left me. I think they just write the deed according to the instructions you give them.Sealed Pot Challenge no 035.

None of the people receiving the benefit of your DoV needs to be shown it, you just need to keep a copy of it with your will to aid your executors when the time comes.May I ask what was the relationship between you and the person you inherited from? I ask because in certain circumstances a DoV is not the best route to take.0

Just to ask the question out of my own interest, but does the DOV not become public record like the original will is?
