    The adhesive can also contain asbestos but can be sealed with some diluted PVA or SBR.

    Was going to put PVA down after the removal of tiles but I'm not sure now if to attempt  it.
    SBR would probably  be better if the area would stay damp for a bit, l think.

    If there is a leak would this be covered on your household insurance?
    My policy ran out last year and never renewed after job loss. That will teach me :#
