Hi everyone. I'm sure this is easy for someone to advise me on.
Just obtained a new 'Trust' keyboard which is the bees knees but for one aspect. On my old Dell one there was a key immediately below the escape key at top left. This allowed me when wordprocessing to 'jump' a certain distance to the right along a line... I can't remember how many characters along... perhaps 20 or 30... and this facility made it possible for me to align matters vertically to the same spot on any given page.
The key there now has strange markings on it and seems to do... not much! And certainly not the useful matter I describe above.
Does anyone know which key I now have to look for to perform this function?

Think you are looking for the "tab" key.
The answer might be in one of their manuals .....

All the pictures online of dell keyboards show it having the standard layout with the tab button on the third row.0 -

There should be a mandatory 4 year prison sentence with no chance of parole for people who use the tab key for left aligning text in word processing documents!0
