I have got Community Fibre Broadband Service. Their customer service is terrible so anything their customer service staff tell you normally ends up being incorrect so thought I would try and get some advice from the knowledgeable people on this forum. I have a Linksys SPNMX56 Router downstairs which also has a Grandstream HT801 telephone adapter. (RJ45 Cable goes from router to HT801 and telephone plugs into HT801) I am going to buy an additional SPNMX56 router for upstairs which will connect to the router downstairs via Wifi connection. My question is, if I want to make landline calls from upstairs. Will I need to buy another Grandstream HT801.

Most people avoid the “two ATAs” route and buy a cordless DECT phone with 2 or more handsets, leaving the base-station plugged into the ATA

Using DECT phones means that you can have up to six handsets and used them anywhere in the house, even out in the gardenNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1
