DCB Legal ParkMaven Claim Form (defence advise)

Hello,
I received a PCN from ParkMaven in May 2024 for "no valid parking session". I was in the car park for 13 minutes, waiting to pick someone up from the train station. Grace period is 10 minutes. I appealed the PCN following the template on the Newbies thread (rejected). I am not the keeper of the vehicle and I didn't disclose that I was the driver.
A claim form has now been sent to one of my family members who is the keeper of the vehicle.
Is it best to put in the claims defence that the defendant wasn't the driver of the vehicle?
Also ANPR only shows me entering and exiting the car park. It doesn't factor in me manoeuvring out of a space, following a one way system, getting stuck behind traffic in the one way who were unloading luggage. Would this be a valid argument in the defence?
Thank you.

Welcome!
The defendant keeper just uses the Template Defence at the top of the forum. Show us the Particulars of claim and redact the usual 4 things on the claim form that you see on all the other claim threads.
What's the date of Issue, top right on the Claim?
Which solicitor firm?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Date of Issue 31/07/25
AOS was submitted and received on 13/08/25

OK, standard stuff. Although it's Parkmaven, you could copy & adapt any G24 or Euro Car Parks DCB Legal defence posted this past month.
Of course they all used the Template Defence (as will you) so the only tweak is paragraph 3. It'll help you to read a few! It's VERY easy.
Search the forum. Filter to NEWEST.
