As mentioned earlier in the thread my dad's hearing is today but he's not attending, he asked that it be decided based on the evidence that he's already submitted.

Do you know how and when he can find out how it went?
Oh dear. That's bad news. People who don't attend make it c90% certain that they'll lose.

He will get a written order in the end but if he loses he'll probably hear from the Claimant faster.
He was ready to give up and pay them before the hearing because he's too unwell to deal with it so this was the least worst option. If he does lose then I hope it's just not the full amount they wanted. Either way he doesn't care anymore.

I'll let him know to keep an eye out for a letter or email.

It'll be a letter. Let us know please!

Still no sign of a letter, I emailed Nuneaton yesterday to see if they'd let us know what happened.

Assuming he's lost, how long does he have to pay and do those days start ticking down from the day of the hearing? My dad's worried that by the time he gets a letter he'll have missed the deadline to pay.

Ooh result! His submissions plus Chan & Akande were enough. Well done!

This could be added to @Le_Kirk's judgments thread, as the main reason for claim dismissal was failure to comply with Part 16.
