Octopus payment changes

Has anyone else had problems changing their monthly payments to Octopus? Tried a few days ago and it said there's a fault. Tried again today and the fault's still there. Thanks.

I changed my DD from £100 to £10, a few weeks ago, with no problem, because my solar export payments were building up a large credit balance.

Sometimes it doesn't work, online, if there is smart meter data missing, or if you try to change your payment by a ridiculous amount, that isn't in line with your historic usage. If you have a dumb meter and they haven't had a proper reading submittied for some time that may prevent the change.

Probably simplest to ring them.
