ZZPS

Hi all
I lived in Scotland between 2013 and 2020, returned back to my home country due to family. I received a letter last May on my old address, for a parking charge, dating 2 Feb 2020. As I said, I left the UK in the end of 2020, sold the car think during the summer of that year, now I get this letter from ZZPS, claiming £170, I have no idea of that, although I do know where it is, but I do know that I was working, because it was a Monday and I went in to work at 8.30 and left at 18.30 or 19h. So not aware of anything. Now, they say to go to www.paymyparkingcharge.com and put the details in to check the details, but it doesn't work. Question is should I pay or forget about it. Already asked them last month when I got the letter from the person living on the house, I'm not registered there, they replied only on the 10 of August, saying that no appeal can be made and that I should pay it. I'm not in the country so, technically they can't do anything as nobody has my current address. My only issue is that don't want them to go bother the person living in the house now.
Kind regards

Ignore ZZPS, especially in Scotland
Study the 4th post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum
You are not going to be able to stop powerless debt collectors letters arriving
Or
Give them your foreign address for the service of papers ( they wont bother sending stuff abroad, so no harm done if you give your foreign address )2 -

Also state the date of the parking event so we can work it out. Is the location in Scotland?
The limitation period in Scotland is 5 years so it sounds like they are chasing a statute barred debt.Question is should I pay or forget about it.NEITHER! Certainly no paying.
We want to know more and we'd like to see these ZZPS letters please and to encourage you to use them as evidence for the Public Consultation.
The letter and email are what we need to see. Are ZZPS lying that you can be sued?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
