Facebook Permanent Suspension

Has anyone been permanently suspended on Facebook in error? I’ve received an apology for the first disablement but then I did the same thing again (as they’d apologised) and they suspended me. I appealed and it was rejected. I run a business through Facebook and I’m at my wits end. Help!

That said, I wonder if Ofcom have any jurisdiction over this, given the importance of social media for business use?2024 wins: LG 45" OLED curved gaming monitor, Lily O'Brien's chocolate truffles

Why would a post about being suspended on facebook go in Compers' Chat? Help!So you've been suspended from Facebook before for doing something, you got it back and then did the same thing again you got suspended for in the first place and you wonder why you got suspended? If you run a business on Facebook and its important to you, perhaps you should have been a bit more circumspect with your account...4

Facebook have suspended millions of users for various infringements. I couldn't get into my account but they reinstated it within minutes after realising it was an error. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

Thank you all for your comments. I was first disabled on 11th august for a post on a business page which they deemed a cybersecurity issue. We then received an apology from Facebook for to say this was an error. I was then disabled again in the 13th august due and asked to appeal which I did and they came back saying it was an advertising security breach. I was hacked two months ago but Facebook helped me fix this however, the hackers did place a number of adverts and I think this is what they’ve found in the review. Total nightmare.
I work in marketing and manage a number of business pages so this has a huge impact on a number of businesses.0 -
2FA is a must for Facebook. If you're going to have a business page, have two Facebook user accounts to administer the business page.If a user account goes down, you can work through the other.
I have all facebook pages /groups on a separate anonymously vague user account with IFA and a stupidly complicated password. No friends on that user account. Just the pages / groups.
You need that demarcation line between business and social.1 -
Thanks for that but wish I’d known that before! No luck as we currently stand.0
