Help with multiple pcns

Hi,

Last week I parked my car on a road I used to park on. There were no yellow or red lines, but unfortunately, I parked opposite a dropped kerb. I left the car there for a week as I was out of the country. When I returned, I found 6 parking tickets.

I have carefully examined the tickets and noticed some significant inconsistencies. The stated location of the alleged contravention is not the same across all 6 tickets. Although the road itself is the same, the exact location given (e.g. “outside no. 3”) differs on 4 of the tickets. For example, the locations listed include:

Opp LP2 (no idea what LP even stands for)

Opp 2

Opp 6

Opp LP

Given that the location is inconsistent across the penalty notices — all issued by the same enforcement officer — do I have grounds to challenge the tickets on the basis that the information provided is inaccurate?

These appear to have been issued by a council or local authority. If that is the case, and since we specialise in helping people with parking charge notices from unregulated private parking companies on this forum, you would be better taking this over to the FTLA forum as they are the council and motoring experts.
