Whats your browser of choice?
I've been using Firefox for a good while now.
Sometimes ocassionally certain sites won't work on it but generally ok.
I've been wondering recently what Brave would be like.

Load it up and try. You're allowed more than one at a time.3

Just did that. Seems to stop youtube ads which is great!0 -
“Sites not working” is either the site not conforming to recognised standards, or your browser settings/add-on filters (anti-tracking, cookie control, etc). Those that don’t play are just the same with Microsoft Edge, if that is a “standard”.Aidanmc said:Whats your browser of choice?I've been using Firefox for a good while now.Sometimes ocassionally certain sites won't work on it but generally ok.I've been wondering recently what Brave would be like.
I use Firefox and haven’t noticed a particular problem.1 -
I couldn’t get on with Brave (i cannot remember why) now use the DuckDuckGo browser and I’m more than happy with it.4

I've been using it for nearly a year. I like the history options, search engine options and the option of browsing with Tor. I can acccess some sites without adverts.Aidanmc said:Whats your browser of choice?I've been using Firefox for a good while now.Sometimes ocassionally certain sites won't work on it but generally ok.I've been wondering recently what Brave would be like.Free thinker.:cool:2 -
On desktops I use Pale Moon (+uBlock Origin) first; if that has a problem (rare but I'm conservative in my browsing habits), I go for LibreWolf (+uBlock Origin) or Vivaldi (which has its own ad blocker).
On mobile platforms (Android phones and tablets) I use Firefox, fennec version from f-droid (+uBlock Origin), and again Vivaldi. The mobile Firefoxes have almost complete support for extensions (not many mobile browsers support this), so I can use the same extensions and configurations as on the desktop (just two though, uBlock Origin and Cookie AutoDelete).

I don't have many issues really, but one that comes to mind is Coventry BS.Frozen_up_north said:

Site loads ok, but logging in is always a problem.
I get so far into the login process (2FA) and then just says there is a problem.
Works fine on edge .0 -
Have been using Brave Browser for a few years, now my browser of choice. As you have found out it has an in built adblocker of its own.
If you like the Firefox Browser, give the Libre Wolf Browser a try out2 -

That must be an issue with your settings in Firefox then, I've used it to access the Coventry BS website for many years without any issues, and I've just logged in again now to confirm to myself that it's absolutely fine.0 -
