This sounds like the "conservatory" is not compliant with planning or building regulations. Bear in mind that councils now have up to ten years to bring enforcement action, and the scale of penalty fees has also increased. If you don't have planning approval and building regs certificates, you may have difficulties in selling the house when the time comes.JKenH said:Last summer we extended our kitchen with what we call a “conservatory”.
