Good morning, thanks for starting us off Scarlet.
Bright and sunny out, but it definitely feels a bit chillier. Yesterday was cloudy all day but the temperature of 21deg was more bearable.
I didn't get on here yesterday, OH had a road trip to collect an order, so I went along for the ride. Other than that not much else got done, so I'll be catching up on chores today. I'm going to try baking a steak pie in the AF on the bake function, luckily OHs favourite so he'll eat it however it turns out.
Have a good day take care.

Morning again, it's fine here, but cooler.
I had a bad night last night and am feeling a bit groggy, hopefully it'll pass. I moved into the spare bedroom so that I could read without disturbing dh.
I'll pull myself together eventually, fortunately there are no particular plans for today.
Hope everyone else is ok, take care folks.14 -

Morning all
Caught up with a few things yesterday so feel slightly easier about the mountain of things to do. The garden needs a load of work but it’s practically impossible to get a spade into the solid hard packed ground so it’ll just have to wait and in the meantime try and do jobs that don’t involve digging.Managed to get another pair of curtains washed yesterday - I think they have very slightly shrunk but maybe half a cm and it’s not noticeable. Just one full length pair to do.Have a good day all

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, hopefully tonight will be better.
I had some Love Hearts the other day!
It's really warm here already, not a cloud in the sky. Bedding on the line, there's another load to go in once I've had a shower. Should all be dry and back in by lunchtime, the bedding can go straight back on the bed.
Very productive day yesterday, worked on the allotment and brought home beans (seem to be recovering after the storm), courgettes and onions. I'll go to the other allotment this morning to dig up some potatoes for DD. No doubt there will be some courgettes there too!
Bathrooms have been cleaned this morning and the decking is finished. It was very warm yesterday so I put everything back as it had all dried. Thank goodness that job is over for another year.
DD and the little one coming for lunch, maybe DD will help me to move the shed so I can paint behind it.
Hoping everyone is well and you all have a peaceful Sunday. Take care. XX13 -
Morning everyone and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons - sorry you had a rough night and hope you have a restful day x
We ate out last night and then stayed up to collect DS2 from the station at 00:20. It’s going to be a slow day today, just a food shop and I need to colour my hair later plus ring BFF.We went to a huge Bee and Queue yesterday - size of an aircraft hanger which was quite overwhelming. Managed to get a bath panel and some bathroom paint but had to order the towel heater online. Will have BIL fit everything next week whilst we are away.Glad you enjoyed the museum visit @IzzyBee and congrats on the football card win 😊
I dread to think what ‘treasure’ I’ll find at Mums when the she finally lets me sort her house out @nannywindow. At least the loo roll, kitchen roll and wrapping paper are useful!
Lovely photo of the heron @AlwaysAllie and I have the same issue with our garden - it’s like a dust bowl. I’m looking to get some well rotted manure delivered to mulch with. You are very industrious @YorksLass - hope you have a nice relaxing day today x
Yesterday I cleared out a big sideboard that can now go to DNiece or on FBMP. This netted a big box for the CS as how many glasses and mugs do one family actually need? I also had a couple of sales on V!nted for our charity fundraising which I’ll package and send today.Have a good day everyone

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. The sun is out, the sky is blue and already it promises to be a more pleasant day than yesterday when we didn't see any sun until late afternoon. But it did feel a bit more tolerant for it.
I resumed my store cupboards sort out and I am more than ready for whatever is thrown at us over the winter months. No room for any more packets, jars or tins.
DD and the girls got home safely late afternoon so I could stop worrying! Just a stop off on route for pizzas as they were all "starving". Her DP is more than pleased to see them back as he is fed up of the never ending watering of all the plants. Woe betide him if anything had died!
Only plan for today is the regular Sunday morning Supermarket Sweep with DS. It's just f & v and bread stuff I need. I still don't feel to have my ruthless head on to resume the clothes clear out.so the afternoon may be a slothful one. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need of them. Take care all, be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Morning everyone lovely bright sunny day here I’ve put a little beef joint in to cook but other than some housework not a lot happening. Coxy you can’t believe the size of some of these places and we have a little hardware store where we live and believe me if the haven’t got it you don’t need it I have gone in and asked for round things and square things and some weird drawings he always manages to sort me out even if he says give me an hour and I will have it cut and ready for when you call back places like that are little gems . Little dog is snoozing she has had a good walk and will go out later when it is cooler. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12
