The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a superior room at Amberley Castle, an extraordinary Relais & Châteaux hotel in the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. Within its 14th century walls – built for the bishops of Chichester – the Brownsword family have created a historic and picturesque retreat, with 12 acres of landscaped gardens and 19 luxurious rooms and suites.
In the hotel’s innovative restaurant, the chef Paul Peters and his team focus on the freshest of seasonal ingredients. Guests can use the tennis court and croquet lawn, take tea in the garden or enjoy a spectacular walk on the downs.
The prize includes one five-course dinner for two, excluding drinks. It must be taken before the end of January 2026, subject to availability and excluding bank holidays, as well the period from December 22 January 2.
