AA two for one vouchers

Apologies if this has been posted already. I did a search and didn't see it. We're planning a trip to the States this spring, and I've been coming across these vouchers for sale on Gumtree, eBay, etc. Does anyone have info about whether or not they are legit? Also, if we were planning to be gone over the early May Bank Holiday, but not fly on that weekend, do you think we'd still be blacked out.

This is the kind of thing I'm looking at. It seems too good to be true, but if it's valid, hubby and I would be overjoyed.

I don't know about these particular offers ? BUT anything that seems too good to be true usually is !!0

one thing i know about these vouchers, is that you have to book over the phone, and from my experience, you probably don't get the cheapest flight over the phone, and i think you still have to pay the taxes on the second flight... that in itself can cost £150+0

I bought one of these any my tip is save yourself the money. We are looking to go to New York in March and on the AA website it's £480 for the 2 of us. By using the '2 for 1' offer, they work it out to be £452. The 'taxes' that this company charge are double that of the AA website. I was very dissapointed as I thought I'd found a great bargain. As excel 1966 says' anything that seems too good to be true usually is !! '0

Thanks for the tips. I wasn't too worried about the taxes, but I did wonder about what kind of prices we'd get over the phone. We'll keep hunting for some deals.
