I’m late today I dragged hubby out this morning we have passes for the castle and a couple of museums near us and we never use them so we have been to the mining art museum as it has a display of art on of the railways to do with the rail celebrations it was very good then I dragged him in for a cuppa and a toasted tea cake he enjoyed it and he is now back in his favourite position watching the football on the box . I had a nice surprise yesterday I had picked a team on a football card my friend was doing to help raise funds for her sons football team and I won forty pounds I have never won anything in my life I’m still in shock. Coxy I can highly recommend volunteering I have had lots of jobs over the years sometimes running myself ragged doing two and three at a time but when I retired it hit me hard I couldn’t have continued with the job I was doing as it was so heavy but I love the charity shop I didn’t know anyone when I went up to ask about it but I have made some lovely friends and you can do as much or as little as you want I just sort through the donations and price them we have a cuppa and there’s always some biscuits going and we have a good laugh. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing
