Google pixel phone keeps resetting

Hi all
My husband told me tonight that his google pixel 9 pro keeps resetting snd that this is the third time he has had to factory reset his phone. He is under contract with ID mobile and has had it less than a year.
Would he be able to swap to another phone because of the constant issues.
