Although the NS ESA appointment is sent via UC Journal, this is the exception to the rule for the two benefits being administered separately.

So I wouldn't count on UC communicating your message to ESA, you & your Mum might want to ring them (ESA) directly.

    Thanks, will do.

I have sent them a letter for the SDP to be added and have explained about the appointee changes, both me and mum signed the letter. Covers all eventualities lol.

    Quick update:

Rang ESA this morning and confirmed they have received the letter re: SDP.
Also confirmed they have sent everything over to UC and that I am now the appointee.
Message on UC journal confirming I am the appointee, they will call me for the NS ESA telephone appointment.

    Thanks again everyone.
