  • 2. The broadband &landline contract costs ~£54 (with the landline itemised at around £35 in the bills), the landline only contract costs around £60.

Sorry OP to clarify that's per month?

We are landline only and it costs £12.09 per month (no add ons).
Yes, per month (including add ons)
Just out of curiosity, how much are the adds ons OP?

Like I say the CEO office might issue some kind credit to account for the length of the contract, but I can't see them extending that indefinitely. :)

    5. USO is very specific about a lot of points most people don't seem to be aware of. It explicitly states that no extra services must be sold as necessary to provide a customer with basic landline connection. Nor may people be charged more than others depending on the area. In my opinion the contract and service we are given is in breach of said rules.
Surely that argument doesn't really apply if they're effectively offering a price reduction for adding services (even if they can't actually be delivered)?  I get why you'd be keen to emphasise the notional £35 figure but if the only available offered options are £60 for landline or £54 for landline and broadband then it's unclear to me if those would breach anything?
