The holiday begins in Costa Rica’s capital, San José, then heads to Arenal, known for its conical volcano and incredible biodiversity. 

After three nights exploring the trip continues to Monteverde’s misty cloud forest, rich with mosses, orchids, and wildlife including the resplendent quetzal. 

The holiday ends in Manuel Antonio National Park, a tropical paradise of rainforest, mangroves, and palm-fringed beaches where monkeys roam and sunsets dazzle.

• The competition ends at midnight on 28 September 2025 (BST). Entries submitted after the entry period will not be considered.
• Winner selection: the winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries, and contacted by 10 October 2025. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours after notification the Eden Project reserves the right to draw a new winner.
• There is one prize of a 10-day holiday for two people in Costa Rica, including 1 night in San José, 3 nights Arenal, 2 nights Monteverde and 3 nights Manuel Antonio occupying one rooms in mid-range hotels on a B&B basis, transfers in Costa Rica, international flights to and from the UK in economy class, and three half-day shared excursions in Monteverde, Arenal and Manuel Antonio National Parks.
• The prize does NOT include transfers to the airport in the UK, any meals other than those stated or spending money. Inoculations, visas, tips and adequate travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and are not covered by the prize.
• The winner must book their travel by 01 November 2025 and complete all travel between:
  • 1 May – 30th June 2026
  • 1 September – 30 November 2026
• Dates are subject to availability. Alternative travel dates are not available.
• Once the trip is booked and confirmed, any amendments to the booking will be at the winner’s cost.
• Also included in the prize is an Individual Family Membership to the Eden Project. This is non-refundable and non-transferable. Membership cards are for the named card holder only and Members are not permitted to allow another person to use their Membership card.
• Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 years or over, and in possession of a full UK passport.  Employees of Journey Latin America or their families or any agencies or persons connected with this competition may not enter.
• The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
