Parking ticket for not placing ticket on Dashboard as stated on the parking ticket.

Hello,
It was a hot day, I have a toddler 2 yrs and I'm pregnant so I placed a windscreen sun protector in my car and because of the angle and not wanting the ticket to fall I placed the ticket central on the top of the windscreen protector. You could see the ticket details clearly etc. I never got a ticket on the window that day but the following week I got a letter with a Parking Charge Notice. The parking states private property managed by Britannia Parking. I appealed and luckily I still had my ticket in the car. But my appeal was rejected because the tickets states "display clearly on the dashboard" and I failed to display the ticket on the dashboard. They however reduced the charge from £50 if paid within 14 days to £20 'to recover costs of issuing the ticket they said". Based on the photos, they took pictures of the rubbish/papers on my windscreen but there's one photo they even uploaded as evidence and you can see the little square ticket there which i highlighted on my appeal. However, my appeal was rejected. So I'm preparing my POPLA appeal and I wanted to ask for advice and support on how I can word it to ensure I get the best possible outcome.
Thank you in advance.

I went and checked signs and none say ticket must be placed on the dashboard. The one on the machine actually says "windscreen".1 -
The main sign says failure to display, it doesn't mention the dashboard.
The sign on the payment machine contradicts that.
Consumer Rights Act says if signage is ambiguous or conflicting, whichever favours the consumer prevails.
Britannia are trying it on - the ticket was clearly "on display".Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'2 -
The machine says 'dashboard' in yellow but 'windscreen' in white. This is why I suggested you go get these photos. Knew it!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
