Just looked on Staysure and Avanti to get a quote and they've changed the wording where it asks what medical info you need to declare during the past 2 years to.. have you had
any physical or psychological conditions requiring treatment, consultations, medication in past 2 years. Not sure what they mean by physical. Anyone noticed this?

Physical means anything non-psychological. i.e stomach ulcers, arthritis, heart conditions.
Basically everything else!• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

Chances are someone has tried to argue a broken leg isnt a "medical condition" and hence they have tried to broaden the question to ensure others can't try the same again. Physical is anything that impacts the body rather than the mind, so both medical conditions listed above but also injuries like broken bones, though a physical condition (eg concussion) can also impact the mind where as a psychological issue (eg depression) won't directly impact the body but could indirectly (eg via self harm or substance abuse)0 -
When I spoke with Staysure, they said you need to declare any appointments you've had for anything. I'd seen my GP just to ask if it was better to rest or exercise a strained muscle (answer - a bit of both) and that appeared on my policy.
Obviously, only the more serious issues affect your premium but they still want to know, however trivial they might seem.0 -

Realistically they won't exclude anything or load the premiums for something very minor however they can void the policy and avoid any claims even if unrelated were you to "forget" to mention something or believe the extra bit of the question exists.0
