Hello
Back once again with another parking fine help request!
Recently the Mrs got one cancelled after Metro link refused to help, by going to the papers with it. It was subsequently cancelled, so we'll chalk that up as a win.
Anyway, the latest case. The driver parked in a car park, paid for an hour and left after an hour, but within the ten minute grace period at the end, which the parking firm have confirmed is within their T&C's, however they are still attempting to say the P&D permit didn't cover the date and time of parking.
The parking session was purchased at around 6 minutes after arriving, primarily because it's a tiny car park that needs manoeuvring around, the internet on their phone wasn't working (normally they are bought on an app/internet page), and ultimately a paper ticket had to be bought having queued.
I assume they're attempting to say a ticket should have been bought sooner, but it couldn't have been. It's really nonsensical.
Is that enough of an argument for POPLA, or do I need more?
I can list the usual, such as no authority, poor signage etc. but any suggestions would be welcome.

Depends what the Joint Code says about consideration periods. Must admit I have no idea because I never read it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
It says you have a minimum of 5 minutes on the way in, and 10 minutes on the way out.
I have found a successful appeal on the basis of my argument, so I'll make sure to copy that. Further down, it comments that "he paid after 5 minutes and left within 75 minutes" which is identical to my situation.
