Hi, I’ve seen online that some UPVC windows can be opened fully to allow for easier cleaning. Mine look a bit different to what I’ve seen online and I can’t figure out if this option is available on my windows too. Anybody able to help? Thanks!

You could change them if you feel confident and have help.0 -
I don't think you can.But you can possibly change the hinges to similar to one you have on left/right opening windows:I think the only difference is which part slides.0

Your thinling of tilt and turn windows that open inwards like a door.0

No, it's tilt and turn, I stayed in a top floor flat ages ago and had them, easy to clean from inside.0

The style shown by the OP is the same as mine and I haven't found any way to open them any further than that photo. Pain in the bum to clean upstairs windows, even larger ones.0

You push down the purple button and the whole hinge slides across.
