Apcoa no response

Hi All,

In June I drove through Stansted speedy drop off and forgot to pay, got a letter on 01/07/2025, came here and used the appeal note, didn’t say I was the driver etc…

I am still yet to hear anything and today I have had another one through and followed the same correct process.

Does anybody know the timeframe in which I should hear back from the original that I appealed (and received email confirmation of appeal) and then if I have still heard back, today is 41 days post appeal, what should I do? This took place in my company car, if that makes any difference.

Thank you in advance for any kind and thoughtful help

🙂

Did you appeal letters that were sent direct to you in your name as Notice to Hirers?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • The letters were sent to the vehicle company, Mercedes sent Apcoa a letter back stating my business is the hirer of the vehicle, at the same time MB sent me all details and I appealed with all of my work information (address etc)

Ah you can't do that. Your company can only appeal a NTH when it comes to them.

  • So, even though I appeal as the company, with the MB letter of authority, shouldn’t I have been sent a new pcn then? (I = company). There is no ability to appeal when I log onto the Apcoa website anymore either

    Wait and see.

The correct way was for the fleet (keeper) to transfer liability to your company by simply filling in the little slip on each PCN.

Do you mean you received another letter/PCN about the June drop-off OR did you go through again and received a subsequent letter?PCN for a different drop-off?
  • I did it again on a different date
