Hotel increased price.

We booked a hotel last August for the Oasis concert. It was booked at £69 a night. We have just arrived and the price we have been charged is £220 a night. We were never told about the increase and really cannot afford this much. Especially for a Premier Inn.
Are they allowed to increase them price like this?

Premier Inn reservations info doesn't indicate they do this. They clearly state you pay the price you were quoted when you made the reservation.
"4. Room pricesPremier Inn adopts dynamic pricing and the price of our rooms fluctuates based on demand. When you make a reservation request, we'll give you a total price for the rooms and number of nights you've requested. The price you pay is the price quoted to you at the time you make your reservation.Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation. If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your reservation and the date of your stay, we may adjust the rate of VAT but the price you pay will remain the same. Up to two kids (under 16) stay for free with one full paying adult in our Family rooms."
Who did you book through and did you receive the email confirmation your booking had been secured?0
