Zonealarm to Sophos

Can anyone help please? I'm currently using the full paid for version of Zonealarm but have a suspicion it may be making my computer run a bit slow. I have the option of trying a corporate version of Sophos. I'd like to disable Zonealarm from loading at start up and then install Sophos to try out. This way I can revert to Zonealarm easily if things don't work out.

Is this a good plan? Is Sophos ok? What's the best/easiest way to disable Zonealarm at start up please?

You would need to disable the Zonealarm service
Click the start button.
Click on Control Panel.
Click on Administrative Tools.
Click Services.
Once the services window has loaded you are now able to turn off any unneeded services.
Find these services in the list and select them in turn with the mouse.

TrueVector Basic Logging Client
TrueVector Internet Monitor

Right click and select Properties.
Once the properties windows has loaded find the Start up type drop down box and select disable.
Then finally click ok and the next time the computer starts the service will no longer be loaded.
