Luton meet and greet

     Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm hoping to get some help and clarification.

         I have used the website comparetheairportparking.com and got car parking online/virtual for 2 occasions. One was 9th Aug till 10th Aug and the 2nd one, for the 22nd Aug till 29th Aug.

 

        I was informed on a couple occasions, when I arrived at the Luton airport meet and greet on Saturday, 9th Aug, that I had been scammed, that the firm had been removed from the meeting and greet list, and that this specific company were stilling cars. In such case, I was afraid I may lose my car. I also had two little children with me. When I phoned the number on the confirmation email (which lacked accurate information regarding the company name), I was instructed to get the car at mid-stay and use the first of the two lanes as someone will pick up the car, and I was then disconnected. 

       I was able to secure a parking space for the night for the initial reservation, and I sent an email to bookings@comparetheairportparking requesting a polite refund for both reservations due to concerns.

I received an email today stating that since I failed to protect my reservations, I would not be eligible for a refund.

      I don't know what to do. Will I ever get a refund from them? Shall I use the 2nd booking end of August with them? I'm very upset and concerned.

Informed by who that they were no longer on the list, and that they were stealing cars?

I’m a bit confused as to what happened on your first stay -Did they not turn up, did you change your mind and try someone else?

they have 50% good reviews and 50% terrible ones on Trust pilot so the chances are getting your money back I would suggest is very slim.

When I arrived at the meet and greet there was a panel and the Luton Meet and greet name was taken off. There were few other companies people which showed me the panel and told me that this specific company was stealing cars. I just got my electric car last year- I need it for work, I can't afford to lose it.

Indeed, I did not protect my bookings as did not want to pay almost £5 extra for bookings. 

I got another cover for the 1st stay with another company as I felt under pressure.

I'm not sure what to do with my 2nd stay.
