Can they cancel this package and refund the £60, or do they have to offer a cancellation for the whole cruise?
I might have misread what OP had purchased, I though this was some kind of day cruise around the English coast, if they booked a cruise and then later booked the package it would be a separate contract.

If they booked the cruise and package under the same contract then, from what I understand, a unilateral mistake can still apply but if it doesn't relate to the fundamental nature of the contract it doesn't void the entire contract.

If OP has paid thousands for a cruise and £60 for an add on it might harder from the company to argue it's a mistake the other party ought to have known.

As has been said, it may have been a loss leader and it may have been a genuine mistake.  If it is a mistake, and a pretty obvious one if the proper price is nearer £600 than £60 then can refund and withdraw the offer.
However, friends of ours booked the drinks package for a cruise long before travelling and it was at an 80% discount on what they would have paid if booked on board.
In the OPs case I would stay quiet.

I’ve booked an onboard package on the p&o website for my upcoming cruise. I was looking at different ones they offered and saw a package listed at £60 that offered robes& slippers, champagne , special restaurant and spa treatment . I booked it and got confirmation email.
when I went back to book it for a another cruise next year, the price now shows £470 which is apparently the real price.
Ive gone through all the t&c’s and can find no clause stating anything re prices errors or that they have a right to cancel this package due to such an error. Where do I stand if they cancel it or contact me to cancel it?
They’ve confirmed my booking on my account and sent an email stating it’s confirmed so do I have some rights to argue this?
I've never been on a cruise and have no intention ever to be on one.

However, if I did, I think even I would have realised that that package at £60 was almost certainly a mistake.

    £60!?

£470 might be a bit OTT but it's much more realistic than £60

The t&c’s relating to allowing to increase the cost relates to the cruise itself.
there are no t&c’s relating to the gift packages that they can cancel due to pricing errors . I’ve gone through them twice.

It’s still on my booking as confirmed and completed, and money has gone from my bank.
im hoping that if they do contact me I can argue “breech of contract” , I’ve even copied their t&c’s from the date of purchase.
I’m just sitting tight and keeping an eye on it, but a few others have reportedly been told that it will be cancelled and refunded . 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Also to add, payment was pending and now been taken in full .
  • Would be interesting to know what kind of spa treatment(s) are included and what the special restaurant includes (full meal, just a glass of wine, etc) OP?

It says massage or facial for 2 people and 2 meals in a specialty restaurant . The meals are normally just a £28 supplement to passengers anyway. There’s also a bottle of bubbles, robes and slippers and a photo from the formal evening.

Well, they’ve now emailed to cancel it saying it’s their mistake and put it back online at £470.  The funny thing is I have several cruises booked and this £60 low price was only offered on 2 of them, the others at the higher price which led me to believe it was a special offer or promo .  I saw other say that they listed only X available left, and when they purchased, the number of packages remaining at that price reduced accordingly.
